SATA!
The Sacramento Area Tennis Association strives to promote tennis for all ages in
our community through recreational, competitive and educational events and
leagues through our non-profit organization.
SATA is a
non-profit organization founded more than 60 years ago to promote the game of
tennis throughout the greater Sacramento area. Its membership includes 31
private and public tennis clubs in its area of coverage. Some 6,000 tennis
enthusiasts regularly participate in SATA leagues, tournaments and
tennis-related events throughout the year.
SATA is a
Community Tennis Association affiliated with the United States Tennis
Association (USTA). It offers 13 year-round leagues, Grand Prix tournaments,
annual grant program and other events for juniors, adults, and seniors to enjoy
tennis as a lifetime sport.
